About Eflingarþing

The Empowerment Conference was held on February 26-27, 2026 at Austurbæjarbíó, Snorrabraut.

The Eflingarþing is a major event and innovation in the work of the association, designed to sharpen the voice of members and set the direction for the association's policy in the interests of workers.

At the congress, active members worked together on policy development with a structured agenda, group work, and the adoption of resolutions. Guest speakers, drawn from within and outside the country, gave speeches at the congress.

The Efling Council of Trustees prepared the policy for the Efling Assembly, which had the final say on the adoption of resolutions. At this assembly, emphasis was placed on housing issues, wage theft, and respect in the workplace.

The program spanned Thursday and Friday from morning to afternoon, and concluded with a gala dinner on Friday, February 27th.
