Purpose and objectives of efling Union
The office of the Efling union carries out a variety of projects aimed at ensuring members' rights, improved conditions and safety in the labor market. Among the core activities of the union is protecting members' interests and providing assistance if there is suspicion that laws or collective agreements have been violated. The labor rights department is at the forefront of this work and ensures that members enjoy fair and lawful wages.
Service to members is the most extensive part of the activity. The service department provides general information, pays out grants and handles various social services, such as payment of sick leave benefits and educational grants. A great effort has been put into the education and social affairs department, including holding courses for trustees and other educational projects that support members. The vacation department takes care of members' vacation benefits, including the operation of vacation houses, and other related services.
Office Efling is divided into the following areas:
- Operations department – Handles the daily operation of the office and supports other departments in its projects.
- Finance department – Handles accounting-related tasks and receipt of invoices.
- Service department – Provides general information and handles the payment of grants and social services.
- Labor rights department – Looks after members' interests and provides assistance regarding rights and collective agreements.
- Education and social affairs department – Organizes courses and education, supports trustees and works on social projects.
- Leave department – Manages holiday houses and other holiday benefits for members.
