Private sector SA
This collective agreement applies to employees working in the general labor market, i.e. in private companies, with the exception of jobs in hotels and restaurants. The terms are based on the main collective agreement of the Confederation of Icelandic Employers (SA) and Efling union, which is valid from 1 February 2024 – 31 January 2028.

Hotels and restaurants
This collective agreement applies to employees working in restaurants, accommodation, service and cash points, in entertainment companies and similar activities. The terms are based on the hotel and restaurant agreement between the Confederation of Icelandic Employers (SA) and Efling union, which is valid from 1 February 2024 – 31 January 2028.

SFV Nursing homes
This collective agreement applies to employees working for welfare service companies. The terms are based on the collective agreement between the The Association of Companies in Welfare Services (SFV) and Efling Union, which is valid from 1 July 2025 – 31 March 2028. Please note that wages and job titles are subject to institutional agreements.
This only refers to nursing homes that are under the SFV collective agreement: Ás Nursing Home, Heilsuvernd Vífilsstaðum, Eir, Grund, Hamrar Nursing Home, Hlíðabær, Hrafnista, Múlabær, Mörk, SÁÁ, Self-Help Home, Skjól, Skógarbær, Sóltún, Sunnuhlíð (Vigdísarholt), Fríðuhús and Drafnarhús.
Employees at the Seljahlíð and Droplaugarstaðir nursing homes are covered by a collective agreement between Efling and the City of Reykjavík.

This collective agreement applies to employees working for the City of Reykjavík. The terms are based on the collective agreement between the City of Reykjavík and Efling union, which is valid from April 1, 2024 – March 31, 2028.
Employees at the Seljahlíð and Droplaugarstaðir nursing homes are covered by a collective agreement between Efling and the City of Reykjavík.
