About Efling assembly

Eflingþingið was heldð 26.-27. febrúar 2026 í Austurbæjarbíó, Snorrabraut.

Eflingthe congress is a major event and innovation in the union's work, intended to sharpen the voice of union members and set lines for the union's policy in workers' interest matters.

At the congress, active union members worked together on policy-making with a scheduled agenda, group work and adoption of resolutions. Guest lecturers, invited from within and outside the country, gave presentations at the congress.

Trustees Efling worked on preparatory work for policy making Efling meeting, and the meeting had the final word on the adoption of the resolutions. At this meeting, the focus was on housing issues, wage theft and respect at the workplace.

The schedule covered Thursday and Friday from morning to afternoon, and ended with a gala dinner on Friday 27 February.
