Transfer of rights between vocational education funds

Starfsafl, Landsmennt, the Vocational Education Fund for retail and office staff and SV follow an agreement on the transfer of members' rights between the education funds. The agreement is intended to ensure a fair transfer of rights between the funds. A member who changes trade union is given the option to apply for the transfer of rights from his/her old education fund/vocational education fund to the new one.
Overview of paid union fees are sent to the new fund/union which calculates the member's rights according to the rules that the union operates under.
If grants have been used from a previous fund in the calendar year, they are deducted from the entitlement in the new one. If no grant has been paid for 36 months in the member's union history, they have the right to apply for the accumulated grant in their new fund.
Must be requested after transfer within 12 months after payments begin to be received in the new union.
It is not possible to apply for a grant with a new fund if the invoice is older than 12 months or was issued before the applicant starts paying to the other union.
